Data Deletion

You can delete your data from NewFollowers at any time. Here are your options and what happens with each.
Option 1 — Disconnect Instagram (in the app)
Go to Settings → Connected profile → Disconnect. This immediately revokes our access to your Instagram account and deletes the Instagram data we stored for that workspace, including your encrypted access token, synced profile and insight data, audience demographics, and source-reel records.
Option 2 — Revoke access from Instagram
On Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and Websites, find NewFollowers, and remove it. Instagram will notify us to stop accessing your account, and we will delete the associated data.
Option 3 — Delete your entire account
To permanently delete your NewFollowers account and all associated data, email us at admin@bigmoodapps.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and account record.
- Your encrypted Instagram access token and connection details.
- Synced Instagram data — profile, insights, audience demographics, and source reels.
- Trial-reel variants we generated and their scheduling/performance data.
We may retain limited records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes; these are deleted once no longer required.
